This month we are celebrating "Women who Rock our World!" What better way to start off the month than with Wendy O Williams and The Plasmatics Coup De Grace/Coup d'Etat.
Plasmatics Coup De Grace
Released in 2000, "Coup De Grace" is the rawer version of 1982's "Coup d'Etat" produced by Dan Hartman.
Scorpions producer Dieter Dierks produced "Coup d'Etat" after coming off of recording "Blackout." So it is a heavier album, although "Coup De Grace" still kicks ass with it's rawness.
I choose "Coup De Grace" because Spotify does not have "Coup d'Etat" available for streaming at the moment. Either way, I highly recommend listening to one or the other because they both kick ass in their own way and the production does not affect the quality of the songs and musicianship.
Plus, they do a killer version of Motörhead's "No Class."
