Play it pretty for Atlanta. Lynyrd's Skynyrd's Gold & Platinum is a time-honored collection of their classic material served up hot, loaded, and fresh!
Released in December, 1979, Gold & Platinum is the bookend of Skynyrd's classic era. It contains a majority of their hits that propelled them to stardom in the 1970s. Great riffs, solid musicianship and words of wisdom like:

Forget your lust for the rich man's gold

All that you need is in your soul

The album is not available for streaming, but I pulled all the songs together and created a playlist. It was the first Skynyrd record I bought and is a fantastic introduction to their music. If you have never listened to Lynyrd Skynyrd before, take a listen to this and if you like it listen to the other albums for some great deep cuts.  

Songs and stories about the American southland and grandma's wisdom make this southern rock at its finest!
